My Network Marketing Business Is Better Than Yours—Here’s the Real Reason

By Ron Deering

Wouldn’t you love to be able to say that your network marketing company wins every single time?

Every day online, you hear distributors declare: “Our company is the only one that has this product. Our comp plan is the best of the best. Nobody can beat what we have.”

I’ve been in and around this profession for over 50 years. I’ve seen comp plans come and go, binary matching bonuses, fast-start bonuses, and revolutionary products launch with thunderous applause. But the reality is: most comp plans look very familiar once you strip away the hype.

So when I say my network marketing business wins every time, it has almost nothing to do with the corporate office, the patents, or the comp plan. It has everything to do with you.

The Lie of the "Magic Company"

Don’t get me wrong: good products and a fair compensation plan matter. If a company doesn’t do its own manufacturing, if its leadership lacks business experience, or if the products don’t perform, that business won’t stand the test of time. That’s a given.

In MarketPlace Global, we have phenomenal, category-defining products like PHIX Smart Drops for vagus nerve support, the new Core Java coffee, and VeraCell cellular wellness. The company is run by seasoned business people—not former distributors trying to play CEO—and it is one of the fastest-growing companies in the space.

That’s icing on the cake. But that is not what makes your business win.

People Join People, Not Logos

Have you ever seen someone go "sponsor shopping"? They get interested in a product or concept, and then they scour the internet trying to find the highest-ranking diamond or top earner to sign up under.

They think, “If I just join under this superstar, they will give me all their secrets and I will instantly succeed.” And what happens so often? They join, and they find out that person doesn’t care about them at all. Unless they are producing massive volume for the next leaderboard contest, they are completely ignored.

I’ve lived through that in my 50 years. Leaders who only talk to you when you’re driving their bonus check up. The moment you say, “Hey, I just want to make an extra $500 a month to help my family,” they push you aside and tell you to leave the real builders alone.

That is not leadership. That is selfishness.

Every Goal Deserves Genuine Support

You will never hear me say, “I only work with people who want to run.”

What about the person who just wants personal growth? What about someone who loves the product and wants to learn how to share it casually? What about the mother or father who desperately needs an extra $300 to $500 each month for groceries and gas?

Are they not worthy of your time, your love, and your guidance? Of course they are. When you genuinely serve people where they are at, you win. Because winning in life isn’t measured by how many ranks you hit or how big your screenshot looks on Facebook—it’s measured by how many lives you impact and how well you love the people who trusted you.

Why Community & Character Come First

A month ago, I decided to come out of retirement. I run coaching programs and training businesses, and I certainly didn’t need another thing on my plate.

So why did I step back in? Because my close friend Carlos Martinez—a man of deep faith and integrity—told me what he was doing. Then I met the leaders above him, including incredible diamonds like Allison and Megan, people with genuine hearts who put others first.

If the culture and leadership hadn’t been right, I wouldn’t have joined for all the money in the world. Life is too short to bring friends and family into a toxic environment.

Automate the Tedious, Personalize the Relationships

One of the big reasons our team is thriving is because we took the friction out of building. We built our Done-For-You Team Marketing System so our team members don’t have to chase friends, make awkward lists of 100 people, or spend all day doing manual follow-ups.

Automation takes care of the landing pages, the emails, and the scheduling. That frees you up to do the only thing that actually matters: connect with people, build know-like-and-trust, and serve them well.

If you want to see how we do this and take a look at what we are building, head over to DiscoverOurPlace.com. Request more information, and if you’d like, book a 30-minute discovery call with me.

Put people first. Put service first. And your business will win every single time. God bless you!
